The Lions Club of Colombo LEADS organized an exciting Heli-Tours fundraising project during the District Family Get-Together 2021–22, offering Lions and their family members a unique opportunity to experience a helicopter ride.
A helicopter was specially arranged for the event, and several tours were conducted throughout the day until the evening. Tickets were made available at a reasonable price, enabling a large number of participants to enjoy the memorable experience.
The project attracted a huge and enthusiastic crowd, with many Lions and their family members taking the opportunity to experience a helicopter ride for the first time. The event created a wonderful atmosphere of fellowship, excitement, and enjoyment while also serving as a successful fundraising initiative.
From the profits generated through the project, LKR 80,000 was donated to the District, making the Heli-Tours project a memorable combination of fellowship, entertainment, and meaningful Lions service.
