“LIONS’ HOPE” FUNDRAISER

The Lions Club of Colombo LEADS successfully conducted its charity fundraising event “Lions’ Hope” on 10 November 2023 at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Galadari. The event was organized to raise funds for several community service projects, with a special focus on improving the lives of people in need.

The event was a great success, attracting a huge crowd of guests and supporters who came together to enjoy an evening of music, entertainment, fellowship, and service. The atmosphere throughout the evening was filled with enthusiasm and joy, with everyone greatly enjoying the performances and activities.

The evening featured outstanding performances by the popular band Marians, together with renowned artists Rukantha and B & S. Their performances created a wonderful atmosphere and kept the audience entertained throughout the evening, making Lions’ Hope a truly memorable night.

The event received valuable support from Sirasa TV/Radio and Capital Maharaja Organization (Private) Limited as the media partner. Their support helped promote the event and reach a wider audience.

The funds raised through “Lions’ Hope” will support the Lions Club of Colombo LEADS in carrying out various community service projects, including cataract surgeries and vision care, support for pediatric cancer patients, assistance for people affected by diabetes, hunger relief, environmental projects, and other humanitarian activities.

The success of Lions’ Hope was made possible through the generous support of our sponsors, partners, guests, Lions, volunteers, artists, and everyone who contributed towards the event.
